The Gold Coast region is one of the most beautiful areas in the world and offers many things to see and do all within very close proximity to the city centre and is Australia's leading tourist destination. The weather is perfect most of the year for most activities.
The Gold Coast Hinterland has a picturesque backdrop of a vast mountainous region of national parks, subtropical rainforests, waterfalls, valleys, and rolling plains. Mount Tamborine with its large residential area that offers all the conveniences but is only a stone's throw away from rainforest walks, gurgling creeks, and waterfalls. The McPherson Ranges, which mark the Queensland/New South Wales border are home to Springbrook National Park and Lamington National Park. There are some 160kms of graded walking tracks where one can explore volcanic caves, rock pools, rainforest, and scenic lookouts.
At the northern end of the Gold Coast is South Stradbroke Island. This natural island environment is a true retreat that is complemented by acclaimed resorts. Once back on the mainland make sure you visit Southport with its flourishing parks and beachfront playgrounds.
Known for its laid-back lifestyle, excellent swimming and surfing conditions, the Southern Gold Coast boasts many of the areas best-kept secrets. This more soothing environment has attracted Australian families for many years and now its charms attract an increasing number of international visitors. These beaches offer the perfect place to enjoy some of life’s great, but simple pleasures. Relax on a blanket with fresh cooked fish and chips from one of the many local shops and enjoy the lights from Surfers Paradise in the distance as the sun sets slowly over the mountains of the hinterland.

R. M. Williams is proud to be the presenter of the Warner Village Theme Park production, Australian Outback Spectacular. This unique production will communicate our nation’s outback culture to domestic and international tourists in an exciting and attractive set-up. Construction commenced in early 2005 for the 1000-seat Australian Outback Spectacular arena. The highly visible attraction has created much interest from motorists driving past the venue on the M1 motorway.
Every aspect of the venue gives the arena a truly unique and authentic Australian look and feel. From the fully themed Australian landscape with great iconic Australian natives and scenic backdrops, the Arena sand which evokes Australian outback, the corrugated iron roof and galvanised railings and heavy timbers that are used throughout the arena to the old fashioned wagon wheel light fittings, and the winding billabong located under the entrance bridge. The venue truly feels and looks like a traditional outback shearing shed located in the Outback.
You will become truly immersed in the spirit and importance of the Australian Outback from the moment you step through the arena doors. Pull up a stool at the Aussie pub and have a drink. Doors to the Aussie Pub open at 6.15pm for your opportunity to relax and purchase beverages during the Pre-show entertainment which commences at 7:00pm. Then you are then lead into the main auditorium where you will be seated in comfortable bench seating. During the spectacular production, 40 Jackaroos and Jillaroos will appear simultaneously to the seats to serve up to 1,000 Aussie BBQ dinners, beer, wine and soft drink in record time.
