Awarded Australia’s Best Major Tourist Attraction for 2003/2004, Australia Zoo is just an easy hour’s drive north of Brisbane and offers a whole day of wildlife action and adventure.
Steve Irwin's passing has left his wife Terri and daughter Bindi to carry on his love, passion, and devotion to educate and share with the world the magnificent - often threatened or sometimes threatening - wildlife. They believe their job in this world is to bring the animals – particularly the misunderstood and feared - right into your home, so you can share and learn about the world's wildlife. The daily demonstrations take on a whole new dimension when the keepers actually interact with the wildlife, from giant snakes to hungry crocodiles. You will experience an entire day of full-on action and adventure.
Things to Do:
* See our playful Tigers at the Tiger Temple
* Be cuddled by a giant python!
